Smart Cities - from IoT to IoP

The presentation is based on the research and results from pilot projects in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and their extension to the Internet of People (IoP). Learning from mass data (deep learning), analysis of mobility profiles up to smart offices will be shown with examples.
Dr. Ralf Schroth is the co-owner and managing director of the company Blom Deutschland GmbH and managing director of the Romanian companies Blom International Operations SRL and Blom Data Solutions SRL under the ownership of HEVECO SRL.
He has more than 20 years experiences in business administration and management, project management, Photogrammetry and Geo-Information systems.
From 1991 he was for 24 years lecturer at the University of Hanover for business administration and management for surveying engineers. In 1997 he got the appointment as honorary Professor from the University of Hanover. >From 2004 till 2008 he was also lecturer at the Institute of Geomatics at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and from 2015 till 2019 at the Applied University in Stuttgart, Germany.
